El grupo de investigación INNANOMAT de la Universidad de Cádiz (UCA) presentó en nude los productos desarrollados en el proyecto FUTURECORK. Uno de los objetivos de este proyecto es la revalorización de residuos y reciclado de subproductos procedentes del sector corchero, mediante su combinación con materiales plásticos biobasados. Como resultado, se han diseñado y fabricado piezas de mobiliario, iluminación y elementos decorativos, empleando los materiales sostenibles desarrollados.
Todos estos productos se comercializan a través de la marca KAOKA Sustainable Habitat creada por la start up Matersia, que apuesta por el diseño, la innovación y la sostenibilidad.
The INNANOMAT research group of the University of Cadiz (UCA) shows the products developed in the FUTURECORK project. One of the aims of this project is the revalorisation of waste and recycling of by-products from the cork sector by mixing them with bio-based plastic materials. As a result, pieces of furniture, lighting and decorative elements have been designed and manufactured using the sustainable materials developed.
All these products are offered by the KAOKA Sustainable Habitat brand created by the start-up Matersia, which is committed to design, innovation and sustainability.
